At what stage of pregnancy should I start wearing maternity clothes?

The simple answer is when you’re comfortable!

Everyone’s baby bump grows and “shows” at different stages. Generally your first baby bump will take a little longer to show than subsequent pregnancies. Some bumps “pop” overnight, so it can be a good idea to get your maternity wardrobe ready in advance.

The Aglow range has been designed very specifically with the growing bump (and all sizes and shapes of beautiful baby bumps) in mind.

All skirts, shorts and pants have a versatile super stretchy waistband. When you’ve got a smaller bump or are post-pregnancy the band can be folded down over your hips then, as your bump grows, the waistband can be worn up and over your bump.

Aglow’s range of dresses and tops have also been designed with this same versatility in mind. Again, high-quality super stretchy fabric has been selected so that you can be comfortable in your Aglow wardrobe throughout all stages of your pregnancy and into motherhood.

What size clothing should I buy?

Aglow’s maternity range has been designed especially to cater for pregnancy, so we’ve made allowances in our sizing so that you can safely purchase your usual size (based on the average range of pregnancy weight gain).

So, for example, if you would usually be a medium you can fairly safely order an Aglow medium.

If it turns out that you do need to exchange for a different size – it’s easy and quick. Simply fill out the Return & Exchange form , make a note of the size you would like to exchange for and send the form back with your clothes to exchange.
